Newborn Photography

The best age for newborn photography is when babies are between 5-25 days new. During this time babies are still very sleepy and curly. They don’t mind you moving them around from pose to pose while they rest in dreamland!  Once they have a full belly and are kept warm, they will generally sleep the entire session!

We can take lovely photos of baby at any age, however please be aware that when babies are over 25 days I can no longer guarantee the sleepy, curly newborn style, we can still take lovely photos but they are less posed and prop focused, instead they are more awake and more natural, with details like their lovely chubby toes and tiny fingers.

Your newborn photography session will be a special milestone in your baby’s life.  I want to help you tell the story of your new baby.  

All newborn photoshoots take place on a mobile basis where I bring all the necessary photographic equipment and props, wraps, outfits right to your home. Newborn Photography. All sessions must start between 9.30 and 12.30 subject to availability.
